How we make money
The short version: we may benefit when you buy a Cortigenix hair test after following a link from this site. Links to other providers are unpaid.
Cortigenix
Where our guides mention where to get a hair cortisol test, we link to Cortigenix. We have a commercial relationship with Cortigenix, so we may benefit when you buy a test after following one of those links. They carry tracking tags so that visits from this site can be counted. The price you pay is the same as going to cortigenix.com directly.
That is why every claim we make about hair testing is referenced to published research rather than to any company's marketing, and why we set out where a hair test is not the right tool.
Other providers
We list blood, saliva and urine cortisol tests from major providers in the UK and US so you can compare. We are not paid for those links, providers cannot pay to be included, and we take prices and details from their own websites on the date shown.
What the relationship does not change
- The evidence we cite, and how we describe it.
- The limits of hair testing, which we state on every page where they matter.
- Our advice to see a doctor about symptoms that could mean a medical condition.
Analytics
We count which pages people read and which links they follow, so we can see what is useful. See our privacy notice.
